Sport events of world importance take place in Prague every year. In athletics, it's the
Prague International Marathon, taking place in May, and Josef Odlozil Memorial, an EAA Premium Meeting in June.

Prague also features one of Europe's best arenas, the Sazka Arena. It hosted Ice Hockey World Championships in 2004 and basketball's Final Four in 2006.
